Orthopedic Associates Surgery Center (OASC), the physician-owned ambulatory surgery center of Orthopedic Associates of Hartford (OAH), has been named to Newsweek's America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2027 list, recognizing OASC's commitment to clinical quality, patient safety and exceptional patient care.

OASC is one of six ambulatory surgery centers in Connecticut recognized by Newsweek. Nationwide, 750 ambulatory surgery centers were recognized, including 61 centers with orthopedics identified as a standout specialty.

OASC was developed in 2004 by Orthopedic Associates of Hartford and Constitution Surgery Alliance (CSA), a leading developer and operator of outpatient surgery centers, as the region's first physician-owned orthopedic surgery center. Today, the partnership owns and operates three ambulatory surgery centers.

Newsweek's America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers 2027 rankings are based on four data sources: quality metrics with a focus on surgical indicators; recommendations and quality assessments from peers through a national online survey; patient experience survey results; and accreditation data.

The Newsweek recognition adds to OASC's record of national recognition for quality and patient safety. OASC has also been named a Top Ambulatory Surgery Center by The Leapfrog Group for three consecutive years, in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The 45,000-square-foot Orthopedic Associates Surgery Center, located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, performs more than 10,000 procedures annually. The facility features advanced surgical technology, multiple operating rooms and a highly skilled clinical team dedicated to orthopedic care.
